The New Mexico Hospitality Association is visiting local communities to get public input on strategies for boosting tourism across the state.
This series of events, called Regional Tourism Economic Summits, kicked off on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Silver City. The group will be in Sandoval County this Friday, September 29, 2017. The public is encouraged to attend and bring thoughts about tourism in the local community.
Attendees will be able to connect with tourism stakeholders and leaders from across New Mexico. These summits are designed to be forums to discuss pressing issues and emerging opportunities impacting the tourism industry in your community.
The hospitality association will use feedback from these sessions to lay the foundation for its advocacy programs at Tourism Day in Santa Fe. It also will share this information at the New Mexico Hospitality Association Annual Meeting in January 2018.
The Sandoval County forum is from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM this Friday at the Casa Vieja Event in Corrales. The address is 4541 Corrales Rd, Corrales, NM 8704. To see a full meeting schedule, click here.
